The Norman Course at Barefoot Landing

Greg Norman's newest design at Barefoot Resort is unique in many ways. With only 60 acres of mowable grass existing on all 18 holes, Greg uses stunning waste areas and the site's natural vegetation to frame each hole. The course resembles one found in the deserts of the southwest, without the desert. The course also features several holes along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Norman has already achieved great reviews for his previous work and he is excited about his latest design stating 'We have a fabulous piece of property with great elevations and the developer has spared no expenses to insure that this couse is the absolute best it can be.'

Black Bear Golf Club

Black Bear Golf Club offers the best golf in a totally relaxed and soothing atmosphere. Wild Wing Avocet Golf Course

Designed as a signature course by the team of Jeff Brauer and Larry Nelson, the Avocet presents creative contouring, elevated tees and greens, double fairways, grass bunkers and even a double green serving two holes. The Avocet was recognized by Golf Digest as a '1994 Top 10 Best New Courses in America' as well as being consistently rated in Places to Play as a 4-Star Award Winner beginning in 1996. Founders Club at Pawleys

The Beach is abuzz about the addition of the new Founders Club at Pawleys Island, created by Thomas Walker, former lead designer for Gary Player Design. Walker has transformed the former Sea Gull Golf Club into a magnificent new Lowcountry layout with 18 masterfully designed holes that are visually stunning, giving the illusion that it is harder than it really plays. Walkers team took advantage of the natural gold-and-orange sands to serve as transition areas, and moved over 250,000 cubic yards of dirt - a good amount being on the flatter front side to make it resemble the more rolling back nine. The fairways are Emerald Bermuda grass and the greens are 419 Bermuda.

This is a truly 'back to nature' experience because of crystal clear lakes that are fed by underground streams and many of the holes are surrounded by untouched wetlands. Willard Byrd decided to add another unique feature to the International by creating five sets of tees so this very challenging course will be playable of all golf levels, with the blue tees measuring 6767 yards and the forward tees at 4849 yards. The 6400 square foot clubhouse has a luzury European design and ample room to enjoy a little relaxing with friends after your round.
